The Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills is an all volunteer organization providing many opportunities to enhance the cultural events for the residents of Lake Mills and the surrounding area. We are now in our 2019 membership drive and hope you will renew your membership or consider becoming a new member.

On Sunday, January 27th the Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills will be holding a Souper Bowl fundraiser at Lake Mills Elementary School. 300 bowls beautifully decorated by elementary students, Club 55 and Arts Alliance members and others will be available for purchase. Enjoy the soup and take home your bowl. . The Grist, Sentry, Waterhouse Foods, Culver’s, Lake Mills Market, Jason Dunn, will be furnishing soups.
The 2019 Souper Bowl beneficiaries are the Lake Mills Elementary School’s “Healthy Snacks Program” and AAGLM’s Scholarships for the Arts.
Join us and help paint bowls to use for soup at the Souper Bowl, January 27. Come to the Lake Mills municipal building on Saturday, January 12th. at 11am. This will be an Arts Alliance Membership Meeting AND an opportunity to showcase your talents. Arts Alliance members and any others who have an interest in the arts are welcome to attend.

Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills Membership Picnic
The AAGLM invites all members and anyone interested in becoming a member to join us for a picnic at Korth Park on Saturday, September 15. We will start gathering anytime after 11:00 am for our noon picnic. Please bring a dish to pass, table service and beverages will be provided. Bring your families and enjoy the spectacular view and park area. Come and help plan for another great year.

There will be an Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills Membership meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the lower level of the First Congregational Church, 307 W Madison Street, Lake Mills.
It will include a potluck dinner so please bring a dish to pass. Beverages and table service will be provided. AAGLM has received lots of positive comments about the events that we have sponsored. Lake Mills is a great place to be!

This event is to raise awareness of the visual arts by reaching out to the community and encouraging participation from individuals of all ages and abilities to create a work of art. Participants receive a 6" x 6" blank canvas to create their work of art.
Attend a gala party at Lewis Station Winery. Tickets include a complimentary beverage plus hors d'oeuvres. If you donated a 6"x6" piece of art, you will leave with a piece based on a lottery. If you did not donate, you will be given a raffle ticket and the opportunity to win a 6"x6" art panel. Tickets $20 can be purchased through Eventbrite or at the door.

Opening 6-9 pm on Friday evening with beverages, snacks and a brief introduction to the Arts Alliance.

SOUPER BOWL FUNDRAISER
On January 28th the Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills will be holding a Souper Bowl fundraiser at Lake Mills Prospect Elementary School. 250 bowls beautifully decorated by elementary students, Club 55 and Arts Alliance members will be available for purchase.
Area restaurants will be furnishing the soups. 100% of the proceeds from the soup bowls will be donated to the Lake Mills Food Pantry.
